Terms And Conditions

1. Clients must make Little Bear Cake Company (LBCC) aware of all allergies or dietary requirements at the point of booking. We accept no liablity for medical reprocussions from non-disclosed allergies ect.

2. The price quoted includes a £10 non-refundable deposit which is payable at the point of booking with the remainder payable at delivery by cash/cheque/bank transfer.

3. Non-refundable deposits can be credited towards a future order if cancelled more than 48 hours before the delivery date.

4. Cancellations require 48 hours notice, cancellations after this are liable for the full payment.

5. Delivery charges are applicable on some products but are made clear at the point of purchase. Delivery further afield than 10 miles radius of Melton Mowbray is possible at an additional charge depending on location. Full details can be provided at the quote stage.

6. At the point of booking, we request an email to send confirmation to, we confirm these details will remain private and confidential, and will not be used for marketing purposes.

7. LBCC reserves the right to use photos of your product on our social media, google and website pages for the purposes of marketing. No personal data will be shown in photography and photographs will only be posted following product delivery.

8. We are a home based bakery and as such cannot guarentee allergy sterility such as 100% nut free, due to cross contamination. We advise clients with severe allergies, dietary requirements or history of anaphlyaxis do not order with LBCC for this reason.

FLOWER POLICY:

​

LBCC do use specially selected fresh flowers for decoration. Some flowers are not suitable for cakes due to toxicity and we reserve the right to refuse the use of these. Faux or sugar flowers will be offered as alternatves. Where flowers are used there are no guarentees even with carefully sourced flowers of a total lack of toxicity from pesticides. Where used, flowers will be mounted on a seperate decor board, floral tape wrap or in flower pegs that seperate the stem from the cake. All effort will be made for flowers not to touch the cake but if the client agrees to the use of fresh flowers we accept no liability from any medical reprocussions. We deliberately over-portion on all cakes to allow for wastage from flower contact. Please always advise whomever is serving your cake to discard any cake where flowers have touched.

 

On cakes where LBCC liase with a clients florist to match flowers LBCC reserve the right to mount flowers on the cake not a third party and we accept no liability for flowers provided by a third party or by the client themselves.
